INP-SCILAB
A SCILAB-based Algorithm which, every fifteen minutes, reads two .csv files created by COSMOS2SCILAB, ii) computes the power losses and voltage drops in the trial grid, iii) performs short-term prediction of the consumption/production power, uses this forecasting to compute future power losses and voltage drops, and iv) finally writes the results on output files.

SCILAB2Orion
A Java TIMER client which, every fifteen minutes, reads data from .csv files produced by INP-SCILAB, and then writes/updates as many ORION Context Broker GE entities as the rows in each .csv file.
Social2Orion
Social2Orion is a REST service (developed in Java) which allows clients (e.g. Social Events Information Providers) to register data about social events (affecting consumption/production in a specific area such as a concert or a football match) into an instance of ORION Context Broker GE.

A Java TIMER client which retrieves (every five minutes) weather conditions and predictions from an external provider and then “passes” the data to the WeaFor2ORION REST service.

ContractInformation2Orion
ContractInformation2Orion is a REST service (developed in Java) which allows clients (e.g. Retailers) to register data about cost of energy produced from the DERs, costs of transmission system and power plants, energy costs into an instance of ORION Context Broker GE. This component can be eventually re-used and customized to fulfill the general need of having a REST service which is connected to the ORION GE.

Metering2Orion
Metering2Orion consists of: a REST service (developed in Java) which allow clients (e.g. DSOs) to register data about metering and load profile in a specific area into an instance of ORION Context Broker GE; a Java client which accepts data about metering and load profile coming from the smart meters (via either an IoT gateway or an existing legacy system) and then “passes” the data to the above mentioned REST service.
