Memory Limit Errors
Those Ex.JS framework definitions could consume a lot of memory to compile your TypeScript project into result Javascript.
The reason is, because there are all JS Docs texts and all optional packages definitions like Charts, UX etc.
If you compiling TypeScript project into result Javascript code and you will get error like this
(JavaScript heap out of memory), increase memory limit for your TypeScript project:
Increasing Memory for TypeScript Compiller
1. Environment Variable NODE_OPTIONS
Add environment variable NODE_OPTIONS (introduced in Node 8) with value --max-old-space-size=4096 to increase memory limit into value 4GB.
1. a) Windows
Open your environment variables dialog and add new or edit the variable in standard way and run the compilation again.
1. b) Linux
Edit file .bashrc and add there line with export NODE_OPTIONS=--max-old-space-size=4096
to increase memory limit into value 4GB. Then run the compilation again.
2. Dirty Hack Way
2. a) Windows
Edit file somewhere in path:
C:/Users/<UserName>/AppData/Roaming/npm/tsc.cmd
Find line with this value:
"%_prog%" "%dp0%\node_modules\typescript\bin\tsc" %*
And change the line into this value to add memory limit approximately around 4GB:
"%_prog%" --max-old-space-size=4096 "%dp0%\node_modules\typescript\bin\tsc" %*
Close and save the file and run the compilation again with tsc -w.
2. b) Linux
Find TypeScript compilator execution file by which tsc.
Open and change the file first line into this value to add memory limit approximately around 4GB:
#!/usr/bin/env node --max-old-space-size=4096
Close and save the file and run the compilation again with tsc -w.
