Update shortcuts using GitHub.
Made for personal use. But feel free to use for your shortcuts.
- Check for update
- Upgrade/ downgrade
And create a repository for your Shortcut.
- Get the latest version of Shortcut Updater from releases. Open it in the Shortcuts app. Now merge Shortcut Updater to your shortcut.
(Use Join Shortcuts to merge shortcuts)
- Add the following info to the dictionary at the top of the shortcut.

Generate iCloud link for your shortcut.

Open the GitHub repository page you made for your shortcut. Go to releases and create a release.
Make sure to include iCloud link in body text.

Shortcut Updater uses iCloud Drive by default to store log files. (Users have to enable iCloud Drive. If it's not enabled, a popup will appear.)- This shortcut uses GitHub API. The API limit is 60 times per hour, per IP.
