This project is a boilerplate for creating a Node.js-based Command-Line Interface (CLI) application using Commander.js. Commander.js is a library that helps you build command-line applications quickly.
Clone the project to your local machine:
git clone git@github.com:DogukanGezer/commanderCLI-boilerplate.git
Navigate to the project folder and install dependencies by running the following commands:
cd mycli-commander-boilerplate
You can run the CLI application with the following command:
node index.js <command> <subcommand> <options>
To see the commands and parameters of the application, you can use the -h or --help parameter:
node index.js -h
This boilerplate contains a few example commands. You can explore the usecases folder to add your own commands or modify existing ones.
- device create: Creates a new device.
- device update: Updates an existing device.
