Student's Friend is an online course management system built by a team of myself and 3 others for our senior project at Penn State Behrend.
The system allows users and faculty to log in and view announcements, assignments, their course schedule, and upload/download files. It also features a flash card system for studying and a forum for communication amongst other students and faculty.
The site utilized Facebook for logging in, though non-facebook accounts were (hackily) supported
The calendar page serves as a user's homepage, powered by the FullCalendar jQuery plugin

The forum page listed all the threads, and includes the ability to start a new thread
Clicking on a forum thread displays all the posts and allows the user to add a new post
User's could create and share decks of flash cards to help with studying
