matter power spectrum equivalence

Geek Repo:Geek Repo

Github PK Tool:Github PK Tool

DESCRIPTION

PKequal provide predictions of non linear matter power spectrum P(k) of a w0+wa(1-a) models, extending the prescriptions built on w-const models only (for example Halofit or FrankenEmu). This technique was inspired by Francis, Lewis & Linder 2007, who had shown the efficiency at z=0. The extension of the method for every redshift was introduced in Casarini, Macció & Bonometto 2009 and tested for several models through purely gravitational simulations in Casarini 2010, and including baryon physics in Casarini, Macciò, Bonometto, and Stinson 2011. The code was introduced in Casarini, Bonometto, Tessarotto and Corasaniti 2016.

INSTRUCTIONS:

You can use PKequal in 2 ways:

1 - with CAMB/COSMOMC, extending the revised Halofit (Takahashi+ 2012):

1.1 - download CAMB from the official https://github.com/cmbant/CAMB or from the fork https://github.com/luciano-casarini/CAMB

1.2 - compile the code including halofit_ppf.f90 and equations_ppf.f90 in the Makefile

1.3 - execute camb with halofit_version=7 in params.ini file

2 - with FrankenEmu, extending the Coyote emulator:

2.1 - download the FrankenEmu from http://www.hep.anl.gov/cosmology/CosmicEmu/emu.html and compile it.

2.2 - download and compile pkequal

2.3 - modify the lines 5 and 6 of emu_w0_wa.sh putting the paths of the exe files of FrankenEmu and pkequal.

2.4 - make emu_w0_wa.sh executable: digit 'chmod +x emu_w0_wa.sh' and use it.
