Laravel Live Chat Application

This project is a live chat application developed using the Laravel framework. The application allows users to send and receive messages in real-time and can be easily integrated into other projects.

Requirements

PHP >= 7.4
Laravel >= 8.x
MySQL or a similar database
Composer
Node.js and NPM

Installation

Clone the Project Repository:

git clone https://github.com/username/laravel-live-chat.git
cd laravel-live-chat

Install Dependencies:

composer install
npm install
npm run dev

Configure the .env File: Rename the .env.example file to .env in the project directory and configure the following settings:

APP_NAME=LaravelLiveChat
APP_ENV=local
APP_KEY=base64:randomgeneratedkey=
APP_DEBUG=true
APP_URL=http://localhost

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=live_chat_db
DB_USERNAME=root
DB_PASSWORD=yourpassword

Run Database Migrations:
```
php artisan migrate
```
Start the WebSocket Server: If you have installed Laravel Echo Server or a similar WebSocket server, start the server with the following command:
```
php artisan serve
npm run websocket
```
Launch the Application: The application should now be running at http://localhost:8000. Visit this URL in your browser to test the live chat application.

Usage

Once the application is running, log in or register a new account to access the chat system.
Click on any user or start a new chat to send messages.
Messages will be instantly delivered to the other user.

Development

WebSocket Server: Customize the WebSocket settings in the resources/js/bootstrap.js file according to your needs.
UI Customization: Personalize the interface by modifying the Blade templates in the resources/views directory.
Adding New Features: Easily add new features using Laravel's powerful ORM and event system.

Veritabanı Migrasyonlarını Çalıştırın:

WebSocket Sunucusunu Başlatın: Laravel Echo Server veya benzeri bir WebSocket sunucusu kurduysanız, şu komutu çalıştırarak sunucuyu başlatın:
```
php artisan serve
npm run websocket
```
Uygulamayı Başlatın: Artık uygulama http://localhost:8000 adresinde çalışır durumda olacaktır. Tarayıcınızda bu adresi ziyaret ederek canlı sohbet uygulamasını deneyebilirsiniz.

Kullanım

Uygulamayı başlattıktan sonra, giriş yaparak veya yeni bir hesap oluşturarak sisteme giriş yapabilirsiniz.
Mesaj göndermek için herhangi bir kullanıcıya tıklayın veya yeni bir sohbet başlatın.
Gönderilen mesajlar anında diğer kullanıcıya iletilecektir.

Geliştirme

WebSocket Sunucusu: resources/js/bootstrap.js dosyasındaki WebSocket ayarlarını ihtiyaçlarınıza göre özelleştirebilirsiniz.
UI Özelleştirme: resources/views dizinindeki Blade şablonlarıyla arayüzü kişiselleştirebilirsiniz.
