Stock market are driven by investors’ emotion heavily or you can put it another way: price changes affect investors’ emotion about this stock. In either case, there should be a correlation between investors’ emotion and price of certain stock. Social media is good resource of collect people’s emotion over certain topic, in this work,we collect our data from Stocktwits.com, a social media platform designed for sharing ideas between investors, traders, and entrepreneurs. We can easily collect tweets about certain stock on Stocktwits.com by using their API.
