⚡ Fun fact Did you know that the original name for Git, the version control system that GitHub is built on, was "BitKeeper"? Git's creator, Linus Torvalds, designed Git as a replacement for BitKeeper after a disagreement with the company that owned it. Thus, Git was born and has since become one of the most widely used version control systems in the world!
