IndexedTable is a simple container for Objective-C that uses NSIntegers as keys for arbitrary objects. Under the hood it uses a specifically configured instance of CFDictionary. Sure, you could use NSNumber keys in a regular NSDictionary, but this is dramatically faster because there’s no object creation, retaining, releasing, or copying for the keys.
