Python Tutor is a command-line interface program that acts as a personal Python tutor, utilizing the OpenAI Assistant API to interactively teach Python programming.

You can type your Python programs in the terminal and get real-time feedback from the tutor. The tutor will also suggest new exercises based on your progress.

Installation

To install the required dependencies, navigate to the project directory and run:

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Environment Variables

To run this project, you will need to add the following environment variables to your .env file:

OPENAI_API_KEY=Your OpenAI API key.

Usage

To start the tutoring session, run the following command in your terminal:

python3 home.py
