The projects

  • Code And Talk: Collecting data about tech conferences in JSON files. The README has links to the file describing how to add Events to the "database".
  • Common Voice: Mozilla's initiative to help teach machines to understand speech. Everybody can contribute voice recordings, validate recordings, (only English so far) and contribute sentences (all languages).

  • LearningOpportunity Guide that provides a quick and short tutorial on how to start contributing with GitHub.
  • lang++: A collection of code editing tools with support for non-English languages. Non-programmers have the opportunity to contribute to the translations.
  • Awesome App Ideas A list of app ideas. You can add your own app ideas. Non-Programmers can create app ideas for programmers looking through the list to solve.
  • Awesome Fantasy: A list of fantasy books and TV-series that anyone can contribute to.
