All this effort just to auto disable looped playback in VLC.

Enable event logging of when applications are closed

1. Open Local Security Policy
2. Select Local Policies
3. Select Audit Policy
4. Enable Audit process tracking on Success

Customize the scripts

1. Move the powershell script to a location you like.
2. Open the XML file
3. Change the path to the location of the powershell script

Import the task

1. Open task scheduler
2. Click on Import Task...
3. Select the customized XML file.
