Series of challenging mathematical/computer programming problems that require creative problem-solving skills. It was started in 2001 by Colin Hughes with the goal of encouraging and providing a platform for programmers to develop their skills and solve complex problems.
The problems in Project Euler range in difficulty from relatively easy to extremely difficult, and often require a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, as well as strong programming skills.
Solutions to the problems are submitted through the Project Euler website and can be written in a variety of programming languages.
