This project was done on then Banksim dataset which is a synthetically generated dataset run over 6 months from transactions made by various customers at various points of time. Thieves were injected into the system deliberately to introduce fraud into the system to make approximately 2 fraudulent transactions per day. Used a number of classification techniques like KNN, Random forest and Gradient Boost Classifiers to identify fraud transactions.
