E-COMMERCE_SALES_DASHBOARD

An eCommerce sales dashboard is a representation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to the sales and performance of an online store. This is an interactive and user-friendly dashboard that has multiple functionalities to ease the process for decision-makers by providing them with a quick and accessible way to analyze the performance of businesses.

This dashboard contains four buttons to indicate the quarterly performance of businesses, and by clicking any chart or button, businesses can get to know more about the trends and collection of data for that specific period of time.

DATA MODELLING

The Orders table and the Details tables have a one-to-many relationship that is based on the field OrderID.

SALES DASHBORD

1. PROFIT BY MONTH: This graph provides an understanding of profit distribution per month so that comparisons between actual and predicted profit can be easily monitored. It also provides a clear understanding of financial performance and helps in identifying peak periods, fluctuations, and areas for improvement. This analysis facilitates timely decision-making, allowing businesses to optimize strategies and maximize profitability.

2. PROFIT BY SUBCATEGORY: Shows the profit earned on each category of products and indicate its performance. It also helps identify the best and least profitable categories, which helps businesses make decisions about optimizing pricing and allocation of resources efficiently so they can focus on lucrative product lines, enhance profitability, and make informed decisions for sustained success.

3. PAYMENT MODES: The payment modes provide crucial insights into transaction preferences. By understanding which payment methods are most frequently used, businesses can optimize their payment processes and marketing strategies and potentially negotiate better terms with payment providers. This analysis aids in creating a seamless and customer-friendly payment experience while also addressing any potential issues or bottlenecks associated with specific payment modes.

4. QUANTITY BY CATEGORIES: Quantity by subcategory reveals essential insights into the product's popularity. It helps identify best-selling subcategories that assess demand patterns and also helps optimize inventory management. Which empowers businesses to allocate resources strategically and enhance stock levels for high-demand items.

5. TOP STATES: The top-performing state has been determined by metrics such as total sales, customer acquisition, and profitability by state.This graph helps in making strategic decisions, allowing businesses to focus on resources, marketing, and customer engagement strategies in the top-performing state for sustained growth and market dominance.

Important

Analysis:
  1. According to analysis there are 4 payment method that we follow out of which most of people love to do their payment though COD (Cash on Deliver) with the perchance of 44% and lowest are EMI with the 10% of people that provide a good sign for the business that Cash inflow is on time and better percentage of people are able to do their payments

Need to work:
  1. It looks like still business need to established a product trust with in customer so customer can do payment before product gets delivered to them.
