Dimensional Analysis

Physical quantities have Dimension, these dimensions can either be base dimensions or derived dimensions. Base dimensions are chosen, the SI System of Measurement uses 7 base dimensions from which all others can be derived;

• L, Length;
• M, Mass;
• T, Time;
• I, Electric Current;
• $\theta$, Absolute Temperature;
• N, Amount of Substance;
• J, Luminous Intensity.
