Digital Metal Exchange and Valuation Platform (DMEVP)

Overview

DMEVP aims to integrate the historical value of metals with the efficiency of blockchain technology, offering a platform for real-time metal price tracking, predictive analytics, and secure transactions. This project leverages React Native for cross-platform mobile development, Expo for easy setup, Fleek for decentralized hosting, Supabase for backend services, DeSo blockchain for secure transactions, and IPFS for decentralized storage.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Node.js
npm or yarn
Expo CLI

Setup

Clone the repository: git clone
Install dependencies: cd DMEVP npm install
Start the Expo project: expo start

Using Supabase

Create a Supabase project and obtain your unique project URL and API keys.
Configure the .env file with your Supabase credentials.

Integrating DeSo and IPFS

Follow the DeSo documentation to integrate blockchain functionalities.
Use ipfs-http-client for integrating IPFS for decentralized storage.
