Merge extract_view_controller branch

Merge the extract_view_controller branch once the updated rviz_animated_view_controller with my pull requests is released.
Before that, create a new release tag named "standalone" for the master branch in case someone doesn't want or can update to the latest rviz_animated_view_controller version.
Then these users can still just clone the standalone version to quickly generate camera trajectories.
@Razlaw PR is open to release rviz_animated_view_controller for noetic. going to open one for melodic too i think in a bit.

You probably already noticed yourself, but there seems to be a typo in the link to the image at the bottom of the readme.

fyi @Razlaw was just merged in a few hours ago. should be released on next sync for both noetic and melodic: ros/rosdistro#30557
