learning about git The .md extensionon the README file indicates that this is a markdown file. While I like markdown I do find it hard to remember the syntax for the various commands. I use the atom editor a bit and this has a nice markdown viewing page feature that allows me to see the waythat my markdown-syntax entries will look while I am typing.
