A configuration for the Linux distribution NixOS.
This repository's directory tree is structured as follows:

generic: Portions of the configuration that are not specific to any particular installation of NixOS. -
installations: NixOS modules providing configuration specific to particular installations of NixOS. -
modules: NixOS modules not otherwise categorized. -
notes: Notes. Not executable nor evaluated as part of the configuration. -
pkgs: Software package definitions. -
sections: NixOS modules defining, and not declaring, other modules' configuration options. This directory is subdivided into one directory for each top-level namespace of NixOS options (boot,environment, etc.).I believe the historical reason for the name is that this was where I started splitting my configuration into "sections".

software: Configuration files that list what user-facing software is to be installed on the system by default. The installation-specific configurations can override these defaults.
