Tps falling as soon as a place a map

Every time I download this plugin and try to download a map (people in my server request this plugin) it seems to start lagging the server always runs a stable 20 TPS normally and then as soon as a map is placed the plugin starts to kill the servers TPS any fixes or knowledge about this?
When you place a map is when it begins to generate the map. If you are on decent hardware then any map under 5x5 should not cause much lag. Bigger maps defiantly will and you could also limit the max sizes player are able to create.
