when the embeded file size increases the query time also increases dramatically

I have created embeddings with a pdf file that size of 5 MB. When I query through interface it responds about 2 minutes later.
Is there a way to improve the response time ?
No for the moment, but don't hesitate to suggest a merge if you have an idea (:
