Cancel a page edit always gives "Sputnik ran but failed due to an unexpected error."

In my experience, anytime I press the cancel button, I get this msg. The only way to get out of edit mode without an error is to press save.
I'm using Lua, Luarocks and SQLite3 built from source code, and Sputnik installed by Luarocks --only-from=http://spu.tnik.org/rocks/fenchurch. My wiki is stored in an SQLite3 (3.7.0) database.
I believe this has been fixed in mainline in git. Please re-open if you still see this problem with mainline.
