GTalk to OCS federated voice call does not go through

GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue · comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set up federation to an OCS domain via the NextPlane federation service
including audio/video
2. Make an audio call from gmail.com (on webclient) to an OCS user
3. The call does not go through and OCS client stays in "connecting call"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The call should go through and OCS client should end up in "connected" state

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Webclient on Windows

Please provide any additional information below.
In c:/Users/Sanjay/AppData/Local/Google/Google Talk Plugin/ I got the log file
and I see this error in the log

[6557:986] [15b8] Warning(webrtcvideoengine.cc:922):
WebRtc:webrtc::RTPReceiver::IncomingRTPPacket received invalid payloadtype
[6557:986] [15b8] Warning(webrtcvideoengine.cc:922):
WebRtc:Channel::IncomingRTPPacket() RTP packet is invalid (error=10034)

Is this the cause of the call not going through? What does this error mean and
how can I fix it? Also I see <rtp:rtcp-mux> element and not sure if that is
affecting this.
