Autonomous ball capturing robot. Our only constraint was to use an overhead IP camera. Other than that we could use any hardware or software. We decided to use OpenCV to capture the video stream, process individual frames and detect the location of the obstacles and the tennis balls. Finally we implemented the A* algorithm for path finding and used Xbee modules to communicate with our arduino, which controlled the motors and sensors.
