Link Detection should not run on staff messages

Staff members should not be subject to the link detection system - could check for something like the MANAGE_MESSAGES permission?

This sounds like a reasonable feature update. You guys have the "Staff" role, right? I will try to exclude the link detection from working on them.

I'm not familiar with Python, but you should be able to check if the author's roles include a role with ID 810405775758590052
