Similarly to finding the Panic button (#20), it took me quite a bit of googling & reading to realize that it's there, under the Record button, albeit indirectly.

First, the extra indirection of that single "Edit Recording Setup" menu item (just to open the settings dialog) could be a little more streamlined, e.g. by moving the "Record Events" toggle directly up to the menu (from the dialog).

Then, the current Event Recording Grid field should be split:

  1. Keep the current field, but rename it to something reflecting the granularity of quantization, and
  2. add another option, as another menu-item toggle, right underneath the Record button, to switch Snap To Grid on or off.
  3. Then either just remove the No Grid option from the granularity list, or disable the new Snap To Grid toggle menu item if the No Grid option is selected in the settings.
