Network interfaces report as physically disconnected even after replugging cable if Status connected.

This behavior is not consistent and sometimes works as expected, sometimes it doesn't.

There are 2 different bugs that are probably related.
I have 4 different internet interfaces on my system.

Bug 1 (more complex):

• Unplugging a cable and then replugging it, sometimes results in the Physically disconected icon becoming greyed out And Speed set as 0Gb/s IF status is set as Connected.
• Clicking the Connected button and accepting the message to disconnect the interface, makes the Physically conected icon turns green and the pop-up message informing that the cable is indeed connected.

Bug 2 (simple one):

• After disconnecting and reconnecting the network cable, the interface remains as Physically Disconected.
