Finally found a way to reproduce, and this is an evil thing.

  1. Go to Global Search
  2. Click any song or any artist -> action sheet is shown
  3. Now dismiss the action sheet
  4. Now press "sort-by" on the Global Search list -> crash

Alternatively (only iPad)

  1. Go to Global Search
  2. Click any movie set -> new panel with details is shown
  3. Now press "sort-by" on the Global Search list -> crash
