Option to completely disable mouse?

Since you can now do everything with just a controller, the mouse technically isn't needed for those using one, so maybe an option to prevent it from showing up (and screwing with Carbon's map cursor) would be nice
Tehnically possible but could cause issues with the map cursor as you already noted.
In Carbon it could work, but in Most Wanted it's basically required as the map screen is hardcoded to use the PC cursor. Without some major hacks to the map screen (recoding the world map cursor) it's impossible to disable it there without breaking functionality.
If you simply don't want it to appear, right now a workaround would be to just delete nfs_cursor.cur and use the Win32 cursor.
