XKCD should not be adult

Although XKCD has a content disclaimer (Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors).
), it is mostly in jest, and is not like other comics labeled adult.
Interesting argument. Maybe we need a better "rating system" - the current adult feature is just a crude protection to avoid offending by accident, so I'd like to err on the side of caution.
Heck, on my own system, my dosage-alias contains "--adult" so I don't think about it most of the time. I'd like to hear other's opinions about this...
I also just checked and noticed that CyanideAndHappiness is not tagged as adult.
For reference, it contains comics like this [NSFW].
My guess for what an adult tag should mean is, "This comic regularly depicts explicit sexuality". This would cover e.g. Oglaf and MenageA3, but leave XKCD and C&H alone.
I think a narrow and specific goal is best.
