shot generator bug

while i'm in the short generator and i save as insert as a new board, all the characters in the short generator of the new board become invisible, they appear to still be in the scene but i can't see them and when i save they do not appear on the frame, i seriously don't know what to do because i'm just starting out, but everything else seems to be working just fine.
