mark problem

There are built-in zap-to-char package, and an enhanced version called zop-to-char(https://github.com/thierryvolpiatto/zop-to-char), but it cannot jump to any character like ace-jump-mode

How to combine these two in one function or shortcut, so I can mark the current point first, and then jump to a character, and the region between the previous point and current point will be automatically marked, after that I can do what I want like copy/cut with the region??
