What's special about nat?

Well okay, it kinda mimics ls.
There are other tools trying to accomplish this, e.g. exa or lsd.

Is there any feature which makes nat outstanding compared to the other (more or less established) tools? I am missing a few words about the why .. why should I use nat instead?

No offending, I am just curious..
