For your course videos, how do you plan out each step of the tutorial?
For instance, I've done the following:
- Outline what I want to cover
- Write the actual code I'm going to end up with
- Write a full text transcript based on the steps needed
- Record the audio
- Record the video/edit with audio using Screenflow
That said, this process is really time consuming. But when I try to go with a looser format, I end up wasting a ton of time figuring out what to say and it's a sloppier video in the end.
Are there any tools you use for planning? What's your process?
