no way to edit the configuration of an existing account

There appears to me to be no way to edit the configuration of an existing LDAP-Sync account. In particular, there are some things that I set up in the Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Add Account -> LDAP UI that I've wanted to change, but required me to remove the existing account and recreate it from scratch:
- my password
- the base DN (for narrower vs. broader searches)
- whether to have the "jpegphoto" present or blank
I'd have expected this UI to be available when I click on the LDAP account in Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Manage Accounts, but the only option there is a checkbox for "Sync Contacts".
