Org noter defaults to DocView

Hello,

I am using doom emacs, and org-noter. Every time I restart emacs, and use org-noter the pdf opens in docview. I have to manually do M-x: pdf-tools-install every time to make it switch to PDFview.

Any help to make this persistent would be appreciated.

Issue was on my system, and an upstream pdf-tools problem. Solved!
