Should implementation files specify `representation` or `didDocumentStream`?

As noted in #55 (review), there is disagreement on whether implementation files should specify representation or didDocumentStream. This issue is here to have that discussion and hopefully come to a conclusion. For now, the test suite is using representation.
We have lots of implementations now and they're not complaining about the field. We're not going to change it at this point. Closing.
