Calendar updates take too long to propagate to subscribed export ICS

Summary: The delay between adding an event on the W3C calendar, and it being visible in the exported calendar, is too high.
From www.w3.org/users/myprofile/calendar there is a Subscribe option that enables a calendar to be seen in other calendaring software, such as Google Calendar. Perhaps it is being updated only once a day? After subscribing to an event on the w3c.org web page at about 10am PT it took until 2am PT the next day for an email to be sent and the event to be visible on Google Calendar.
