CDR uses it's own logging mechanism - HDC issue

CDR also includes its own log4j and commons-logging rather than using our
supported libraries.  CDR also includes its own log4j configuration files,
meaning configuration of log4j may be entirely out of the hands of the
JBoss administrator if we allow this.  Furthermore, CDR includes two
different log4j configuration files in two locations.  Which is the one
being used?

CDR is logging but does not use JBoss specific mechanism to do so.
