I did some stupid trials. Slightly inspired by Vuetify logo.
- With border - same border color as the police blue in Vue logo.
- Flat Colors So white isn't visible. Screenshot taken on top of gray background for white to be visible.
The first one gives a crispier look in smaller version. Might need more borders and more gap between the colors to be more legible.

What would be helpful here is creating separate issue for every design.
With that it's easier to vote on a design and decide winner later.
But I think that way people will have to go through a lot of issues and i don't know if that makes counting votes easier!
