It will be really nice to add patters for example to use the same - [ ] instead of -[] as in markdown files.

I will implement this, but I am in the middle of another big project, so it may take some time! I just wanted to let you know that I hear you, and will get to it. Thanks so much for using my plugin
I think this could be done by using a user defined variable for the pattern
