Attempt using USB interface for UART or other communication

What kind of data rate can we achieve using this? Can we go faster than regular UART?
Could we conceivably use the USB interface as an Ethernet interface?
Based on all of the USB code needed for this it seems not worth it. We should just bootstrap directly to Ethernet or something.
Next step to this if we want to try it would be to figure out compiling + configuring stuff for this
edit: this is the third-party USB dependency
Implemented here: #13. We're also turning off the I/O-pin based UART.
