Numbers on label run to zero on removal

Upon removing a series from label, the numbers run to zero while fading out.

Is this intended? My expectation would be a simple fadeout.
No. Actually, the label handling has a handful of problems besides this, and revising it is literally on the top of the task list.
It will be fixed in the next planned version.
