Hey all i have a question, that we need to contribute in specific repositories? or any repo on github will be counted as well?
as i saw today 116,361 Participating Repositories is mentioned on hacktoberfest website
It's any repository that uses the tag hacktoberfest. The count on the website is based on the number of active repos that sport that tag.
and anyone can put that tag to the repo?
and can the following repo be considered as beginner freindly?

@mriceflame you can create beginner-friendly issues. such as documenting, easy bug fix, simple feature addition, and things like that. Also if you feel like you can raise a PR with issues and your project on our readme too.
I am little bit unsure about hacktoberfest tag so maybe @vinitshahdeo or @iamdevvalecha can answer this.
