riak_core schema not "autodiscovered"

running:
rebar3 new rebar3_riak_core td && cd td && rebar3 release
and checking the generated td.conf, the entries for riak_core (located at _build/default/lib/riak_core/priv/riak_core.schema) aren't available.
sorry, it is, it's just that there seems to be a lot of hidden config fields
