[BUG] No system tray indicator after last system upgrade

Version of Variety
Describe the bug
for some reason, and no matter how many times I reinstall variety, it still doesn't show the system tray icon. the app works normally, but missing that.
Context
it was working fine until last system update.
To Reproduce
- upgrade arch linux with plasma 6.1
- variety loads at boot
- no tray indicator, even after a reinstall.
