Issue with hljs-subst class in the css

Describe the bug
Inside pre
and code
tags there's some text that is supposed to be white when the theme is dark, and black when the theme is clear. This is not working as expected because it does not follow the choice made by the user through the theme switcher button on the website, but rather it follows the operating system theme preference.
This text is styled with the css class hljs-subst.
The issue is more clear when the OS is set to dark and the website theme is set to clear, and vice-versa.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Use macOS Sonoma 14.0
- Set the dark theme for example
- Open a page of docs.vapor.codes containing some code in
pre
andcode
tags - Set the website theme switcher to clear, in the same example of point 2.
- The code supposed to be colored in black is white instead, following the OS theme.
Expected behavior
The code should be clearly visible by following the website theme
Environment
- OS version: macOS Sonoma 14.0
- Browser Version: Safari 17.0
Additional context
Not yet tested on other platforms / browsers.
