Taskbar on second monitor bugged when using classic theme

SL6464 opened this issue · comments

With the relevant "advanced mitigations" option ticked + patched Open-Shell DLL, the taskbar looks perfect on the main monitor but is bugged on the second one, in that it's too small and overlaps the main monitor taskbar slightly when you click into it.

Which version of Explorer Patcher are you using?

Which build number of Windows 10 are you using?

EP build 22621.3810.66.1 (pre-release) but this has been a longstanding issue and presents on the current main/stable build too.

Windows 10 21H2 build 10944.4651, but as I say this issue has been around for as long as I can remember.

Windows 10 21H1 EOL was December 13, 2022.

I suggest you upgrade to a newer version of windows 10.

In what universe is this a duplicate of that issue? This is about the taskbar.

And Windows 10 LTSC IoT, which is based on 21H2 (which is what I said in the OP, apologies for typo in previous post), is supported until 2032.

That issue goes over why classic theme is broken in general.

EP isn't tested on older versions of windows, sorry.

🙄

The exact same issue presents on 22H2. Does that help?

I suggest you add post in #2701 the problems you're experiencing as it's all related to classic theme not working correctly.

Issue #2701 is not about classic theme and not about taskbar.
